B support is coming to Windows 11. If you’re wondering what that means, it’s a nickname that Microsoft’s development team has been using to call its latest development build of Windows 11. This current build of Windows 11, which is code named “Redstone 4”, is currently being used in the company’s official Windows Insider Program in order to test the latest Windows features that will eventually be available in a future version of Windows.
Microsoft has been giving it’s Windows operating system the B support treatment recently, and has renamed the buggy Windows 10 product Windows 11. However, the B in Windows 11 (or should I say B1) is only a placeholder as the company plans to release a new version of Windows in the future. We still don’t know what that will be called, but it’s pretty clear that it will no longer be the Windows formerly known as 10.
In addition to the major new features in Windows 10 that were introduced with the April 2018 Update, the UWP framework also gained support for some new APIs that allow developers to write code to interact with the system in a new and improved way. For example, the Windows.Desktop.Input.BKeyboard class gives you an opportunity to interact with the OS via the virtual keyboard.. Read more about windows 11 download and let us know what you think.

- Just in time for the launch of Windows 11, Amazon announced that the app store will support the new Android app bundles.
- Android apps will be available through the Microsoft Store, but downloading will take place through the Amazon Appstore.
- As far as we know, PK apps will not be phased out, and Android will continue to support the present format.
- With the developer’s permission, most programs in the Amazon Appstore will automatically work on Windows 11.
Just in time for the launch of Windows 11, Amazon announced that the app store will support the new Android app bundles.
As you may be aware, Google will be changing the app structure in August, so developers still have time.
Featuring the upcoming Windows 11 Android apps with Windows Subsystem for Android and Windows Subsystem for Linux, Microsoft will proceed as planned.
AAB support for Windows 11 is promised by Amazon.
To be clear, these Android apps will be offered through the Microsoft Store, but the actual download procedure, as we explained a few weeks ago, will take place through the Amazon Appstore.
Another significant change is coming to Android apps, with Google confirming at the end of June that app developers will be required to utilize the new standard pp Bundle (AAB) instead of the pplication Package (APK).
This regulation applies to new apps on the Play Store, as defined by Google, and developers will be required to discard the current APK file format for new apps.
As a result, Amazon is preparing for the new Google format, which Microsoft should should have already supported.
According to a short FAQ released on one of Amazon’s blogs, B support will be available in time for the release of Windows 11 on the Amazon Appstore.
The Amazon Appstore is working hard to accommodate the new format, which will give customers advantages including lower software download sizes and on-demand downloads for features and assets.
It’s important to note that PK apps aren’t being phased out because Android will continue to support the current format.
After Google enforces AAB for its Play Store, it’s increasingly likely that developers will stop distributing their apps in APK format. To put it another way, this new format will eventually supplant APK as the preferred publishing format.
With the developer’s permission, most programs in the Amazon Appstore will automatically work on Windows 11.
App Bundles will not be required by Amazon, unlike the Play Store, but developers will soon be able to publish their App Bundles in their Store if they want to conveniently distribute the same app package across the Play Store and Amazon Appstore.
